Correspondence from soldier Holbrook while hospitalized at Base Hospital #36, France, to his aunt, Mrs. Palmister in East Jordan (Mich.), about the monotony of army life and personal matters, dated May 5, 1915. The letters were hand written on Red Cross stationery, postmarked, and stamped by the censor.
